Coastal authority approves 50-year, $50 billion master plan

“The state Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority today unanimously approved the 50-year, $50 billion five-year update of the state’s master plan for coastal restoration and hurricane storm surge protection, and sent it on to the Legislature. “Every community gets protection under this plan,” said authority chairman Garret Graves. “No one is left out and no one is left behind…” (Read more)
